In 1992 ½, Ford made 2193 "Summer Edition" convertible Mustangs in a special red/orange color all with white leather, white tops, full power and 5.0 Litre 302 motors with fuel injection. These cars all had pearl finished metal wheels. Of the total,1406 were auto and only 787 were manual 5 speeds. No other mustangs that year were that color, had these wheels or had the white leather interiors with black piping. They also had a small tasteful air foil on the trunk in place of the black luggage rack that all other Mustangs had. We have one of each, both auto and the 5 speed.
In 1993, Ford made 1500 triple white "Special Edition" convertible Mustangs all in white; the exterior, interior and the top and wheels. There were 1056 auto and only 444 5 speeds, same full options as 1992. We have one of each.
Also in 1993, Ford made 1503 Yellow "Special Edition” convertible Mustangs. All were yellow with chrome wheels and full power. However, only 384 had white leather interior and white tops the remainder of the 1503 had black tops and interiors so the whites are much more rare with only 271 autos and 113 5 speeds. This last model is obviously the most rare and it took us 3 years to find one. Almost impossible to find one of these with low miles and in good shape. We have one of each. Same air foil feature on both of the 1993 editions and the 1993s are monocolor - all the trim is the color of the car not black as the regular mustangs are.
All six of these cars are original paint and drivetrains.

The web site that keeps track of these cars has put out a request nationwide to see if anyone had collected all six of these rare cars and, to date, this collection is the only one known to exist in the country.
