Mustang, America’s Classic Pony Car

by Randy Leffingwell; Lowe & B. Hould Publishers; 1995; ISBN 0681-07630-5

I found this book at my local book store in the bargain book section. It only has a brief mention of the 1993 Feature cars. There are no pictures of the feature Mustangs. In the two sentences on the cars, it states that 1,419 yellow and 1,460 white were produced and they were available from the start of the year. We all know this statement on availability is wrong. Interestingly, this is the second time I have seen these production numbers mentioned. The only other time was in an email from Joe Laura (the Ford Engineer credited with the creation of the Feature Mustangs).

Additionally, I found this book interesting because of the numerous photos of the 1990 "7-up" Mustang. There are 6 pictures in total and they cover the interior, exterior and under the hood. There are also some limited details on the 7-up promotion that lead to this car.
