Steering wheel cover install

I wanted to preserve the getting-worn steering wheel as I know I can't easily replace it. Some photos here of the install. I offer it neither to endorse nor against, simply to educate any who want to look at it.

The company is called wheelskins--bought on amazon under $50.

Pros: leather, good feel, sturdy, gives formula one racer type feel to car (slightly thicker wheel), even people like me can do it.

Cons:
1. rather permanent until one cuts the thread, so not "correct" for car shows.
2. Removable one might fit this need better, but thought them not as attractive for daily driving.
3. How's your sewing skills?--don't want to "lock" your stitch or miss holes.
