We have owned may fox bodies over the years 7 to be exact but the one that started it all was a 1990 GT hatch that I bought back in 1991 the car was Ultra Blue clearcoat met with the titanium bottom and we had the car until 2005 when a 16 year old kid hit my wife while she was coming home from a workout on the Friday before Memorial day of 2005. Needless to say my wife was thankfully ok but the GT was toast. We settled with the insurance co and the hunt began. Fast forward to 2008 summer and an ad in the local trader. The 93 was located about 60 miles from our home and I bought it on the spot. The second owner was sellling due to the birth of his 4th daughter, yes that is right 4 girls! He was using the money to buy a big Chevy SUV. Thanks for asking and take care. |

Very cool story! When your wife was hit, did the airbag deploy? At least she was ok! Thats the most important thing. I love the GT Hatches, and if I didnt have the 1992, I would! |

Yeah the bag blew and it did its job but the car was hit head on and a total loss. And yes at least my wife was ok. She too hated to see the car gone but it enabled us to find the 93. Take care. |
