Here are some pics of Chris' tour of historic Route 66. He drove all 2400 miles of the road from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier as part of a photo documentary. He wrote his Masters thesis on Route 66 and had a gallery photo show to graduate from SUNY New Paltz, New York. You have to agree with Chris that there is no better car to take on the open road than a v8 convertible Mustang!
